Divvy Rebrand 2019
Divvy is a fintech startup in Lehi, UT: getdivvy.com. Its mission is to “make money smarter” by becoming the “financial nervous system” of every business.
I was directly involved with the logo mark design, typeface, color system, and brand guidelines(including attributes and voice, among other elements). However, my biggest contribution in the 2019 rebrand was the creation of an illustration style and motion design system. We wanted the illustrations to feel recognizable to those familiar with fintech, but also allow for a fresh and timeless quality. These were done with simple geometry and then elevated with a hand-drawn ink and paint finish.

Rebranding often feels like the “wild west” and doesn’t just begin/end with a new logo mark. Together we were able to accomplish something I think to be truly beautiful.
