BILL
Brand refresh
Following acquisition, BILL’s brand sought a cohesive visual language across product and marketing.

As a staff brand designer, I led the development of a new visual system, defining illustration, motion, and core brand behaviors. This included building the initial libraries and working closely with designers to ensure consistent rollout across teams.

The result was a unified brand expression that could scale across channels during a critical period of growth.

Mercury
OOH Campaign
A campaign entitled “More Made Possible” that translated Mercury’s product experience into a clear, differentiated visual language at scale.

I developed a set of illustrations and character animations that balanced energy with clarity, designed to work across large-format placements while maintaining consistency with the brand.

The system allowed the campaign to feel cohesive across executions while introducing a more expressive layer to the brand.

The Leverage
Visual identity

The Leverage needed a visual identity that could scale with its growth across platforms and formats.

Working with its creator, Evan Armstrong, I helped define the foundational brand system: typography, illustration, and overall tone. We built this to work across Substack, social, and emerging formats for video and audio.

Feed The Wife
Seasonal brand design
Feed The Wife is a family-owned bakery in Taipei. They needed a seasonal brand system that could extend across packaging, merch, and physical experiences.

We developed a set of illustrations and graphcs that captured their story and could be reused across formats, creating a consistent visual language tied to their product: delicious baked goods.

West Main Studio
Brand illustrations
West Main Studio(previously Sunset Studio) is a photo/film studio in Salt Lake City, UT. They needed a small set of illustrations to support their rebrand.

I created a focused illustration set aligned with their visual identity, designed to integrate seamlessly into their site and brand materials.

Just Visiting
Animated short
A dog visits NYC for a weekend. Full film seen here

Created in conjunction with a small art show, later titled “Just Visiting” inspired by 6 months living on the Northeast side.

This short animation was created by hand and digitally, then projected inside a physical newspaper stand. It’s an unfinished work:)

Accompanying this was also a set of iconography and a large hand sewn piece.

Little Fat Boy
Freelance illustrator

Frankie Gaw or @littlefatboyfrankie has created a social media presence that warms hearts and fills bellies.

I developed a library of imagery that could support social, recipes, and campaigns

What started as a single illustration evolved into a broader visual system for ongoing content, ensuring consistency while allowing for variation over time. Images shown are from the “Turning American Classics Asian” series.

The on-going illustration enables Frankie’s brand to scale content without losing voice.

Griffin Bank
Event illustrations
Griffin bank wanted to wow their staff with a company offsite in Portugal, titled “The Gathering”. It needed a visual identity that felt distinct but aligned with their brand.

We developed a character that reimagined their logo into charming and sophisticated, yet plump and playful griffin.

This also accompanied a set of illustrations used across materials for the event.
