Company Policy branded graphics

I made all this good good for branding studio Company Policy when they were launching

Divvy homepage gifs

Prepare for a wait while this page loads:)

In-between website updates we did a round of hand drawn style gifs for Divvy. They were each based around a main value prop. A fast-moving tech startup is constantly innovating, so these only lived for a millisecond on the site. We implemented drawings from procreate taken into Lottie. It really bogged down loading time lol.

So, maybe this is a bit of a flop, but I still love these lil guys.

Water series

In the summer of 2021, UT was going through a drought. Like much of the world, the effects of climate change could be felt here and it seemed like there was no movement in any direction of change. I had my mind on water consumption a lot and so I made this series of images around that. One of those I applied to a 32oz custom Nalgene water bottle.

Contact Sports with Blaine Pannell

This short series is called “Contact Sports”. Its a fun collab that was spawned one weekend with @blainepannell, who’s a talented designer and a world-class dude. For each spread we paired a sports-related illustration by me, with a typographic design by Blaine. Working collaboratively is so refreshing, I hope to do it more.

Login screens with Divvy '21-'22

At Divvy we revamped our login process and added some authentication tools. To aid the experience, I was tasked with creating an illustration. There was some user testing and feedback involved with responses that edited the illustration you now see. Check out the sketches and iterations below that. One of the main points of feedback was a desire to have everyone in the illustration appear more happy, which I thought was interesting:)

UPDATE 11/21: This is now a seasonal update to the Divvy product, so I’ll post the updated login illustrations below:)

Produce stickers 2021

Last year, I helped my wife with a neighborhood produce basket. We created some fun content for her IG, including some sticker designs. This year, I tried to update that and hone in the style. This included some veggie people, and some type for a tote and tee. The whole creative process can be seen in a highlight reel 🥑 on my IG.

Above are some pics of our produce co-op. Below are images of the first round of stickers, which were featured on @fruit_stickers

Tech insider mural

This is an old piece and it never came to fruition and I don’t really ever work in vector - but I still love it.

CoFi branded illos

Oldie from 2020: Under the Art Direction of Michael Moulton, I crafted an illustration style and set for Cofi. In their own words, Cofi is “Empowering builders to secure the best financing that is seamlessly streamlined to the job site. With CoFi, builders control the cash so everyone gets paid on-time, every time.”

Taking reference from OSHA and safety manuals, we stuck to a flat illustration style, with realistic characters and humorous themes. The final pieces were given a paper printed texture for charm and to mimic those emergency worksite references.

BILL motion logo

With the BILL refresh last year, I also made a motion logo and started their motion system:

From a long, long time ago...

When I was still a student I made a ton of sports-related illos and tried to make a mini tee shirt brand. Turns out it’s a lot more time consuming than I had planned for. I still love it though. I printed them on-demand through Threadless, kept a consistent IG, and even paid a friend for a mini photoshoot.
